What a great question April.
My love of nature, animals, feeling good and the beauty of our world really shape who I am.
Coupled with my passion for learning and for helping people and animals, it means that in essence I’m an uplifter and an appreciator 🙂
love your true essence, ferris!
What makes me uniquely me?
A heart full of holes and my nonetheless unwavering hope that this world runs on creativity, beauty, and goodness. I carry my light as unapologetically as my dark side. This is what makes me, me; what makes me whole.
How easily we sometimes forget essence. Thank you for this.
thanks for playing along, sofia. i adore what makes you YOU.
How FUN, April! The essence of me is that I’m ever changing and ever growing. As much as I’d love to be able to consistently use the same descriptive words for myself, I just can’t. Therefore, that IS my essence and I’m getting more and more comfortable with it! 🙂
very insightful assessment, april. and how exciting – to never place any limits on your potential and growth! 🙂
After watching Inside Out (the new Pixar film) yesterday, my son asked me what “islands” I have in my mind – these are the core pieces that make up your personality. My answer: family and friends, lakes and trees, good food and wine, exploration, synchronicity. Connection.
I am unapologetically me: Flawed, inconsistent, stubborn, sometimes moody and often annoying. But I am also creative, spontaneous, free-spirited, loyal, funny (to those who know my particular sense of humour), unconventional, highly intuitive, and love to let others be themselves without expecting them to be someone else.
Very to the point! It is a great reminder to not only be true to ourselves and embrace who we are, but also to live each moment to fullest. Everyone has gifts and talents, but no one can be you better than you!
What is YOUR essence statement, April? 🙂
My essence? A little bit of quirky sprinkled liberally with curiosity and infused with a lot of heart.
