I love this post so much.
So simple. Little prompts to make us live a beautiful life.
Right now, I’m working on my why. It’s the part that’s currently weak, but getting stronger as I do the work.
Thanks for your beautiful writing.
xx
thank you for your kind words, sam. wishing you insight and discovery as you explore your very important “why.”
That very distinct silence from the very moment of internalization of these simple questions leaves me overwhelmed by the power of simplicity over complexities. The “why” is really a tough one to answer and we’re all proving that we are doing things for our existence. Great article. Simple but deep. Thanks!
“the power of simplicity over complexities.” yes, ella, we do tend to complicate our lives, don’t we? thanks for sharing your thoughts here. and good luck on the “why!”
Love the simplicity! Great points to ponder…
Great post! Thanks for sharing.
Love the simplicity + strength of this post.
I’m going to stop and cuddle with my kitties as they bask in the sun.
oh, that sounds delightful, helene! (love my kitties. :))
Love this!
I am going to crawl into my man cave and begin restoring an old set of gorgeous drawers. Ahhh!
i would love to see the finished product, theressa!
Love this. It’s so simple yet so important. Right now I’m off to spend time with my loving husband. Quality walks = fantastic talks
you are so right, sarah – i absolutely love walking/talking with my husband! dreaming, resolving, connecting.
I love it! Great post. I agree with everybody about how it’s so simple, yet powerful. Great questions to ask oneself! Thank you for sharing.
I really loved this, it made me think. I am going to finish up some chores that have been hanging over my head because I feel happiest when I’m not procrastinating anything.
i am the queen of procrastination, krystal! feeling free of that heavy blanket of guilt is indeed wonderful.
Oh my gosh. This post gave me chills. I love it! Of course, following your path is really significant for me, but the point that gave me chills the most was the one about where I feel most at home. Nature. Definitely need to spend more time there!
leanne. π touched to hear that you felt that current of energy as you realized nature = home for you. thanks for sharing.
Beautiful , love the directness – to the point – less is more – thanks xxc
April, to add to the songs about sunshine theme…
Have you ever heard this one? So beautiful and romantic. *sigh*

lovely song, michelle – i’m so glad you shared it. when my now-21-year-old son was a baby, i used to sing “you are my sunshine” to him. that song still makes me tear up when i hear it.
This is so great. Simple and direct–the way life should be. I feel thankful that I do each of my who/what/when/where/why every week.
hooray for you, lorna! a weekly plan for the “how.”
Love these questions, April! Simple, yet powerful, the best kind. π thank you!!
I love a post that makes you think (& then smile) π
glad to hear you thought about and then smiled at my words, susie! π
ohhhhβ¦. that is just so sweet it hit my sweet spot tonight. What a beautiful post filled with sunshine. Just lit up my heart and made me smileβ¦. π
thanks, elizabeth. π
April…love the brevity with impact. Great questions as calls to action.
XO
So simple,I’m about to head outside and get some sunshine! (Where π )
sunshine is often in my “where,” karen!
I LOVE that quote : The future’s so bright I gotta wear shades. Very powerful post, April. I am happy to report that I do most of those. Problem is, I feel most at home in France, but I live in the US π Everytime I go there I have crazy deja vu’s – like I lived there in a past life or something.. Growing up in LA, I always felt I didn’t really belong there. Who knows..Maybe some day France will be my home. That’s it! I put it out there. uh oh π
yes, tania, maybe some day france WILL be your home. i tend to listen to those very important sensations when they hit. (i’ve been feeling that exact way about a tiny town in portugal – not usually my style since i adore big cities, but i can’t get it out of my mind. plotting. :))
I agree with everyone – what a simple yet powerful post!
