my life in italy is beginning, just barely,
to take on a certain beat.
a rather rhythmic quality.
CATS and CHAOS.
my always amusing felines,
amidst the always occurring surprises.
FLUCTUATION and FLOWERS.
while riding the waves of continuous change,
i try to remember to breathe in the beauty.
PAINTING and POETRY.
reading words that inspire and cheer.
choosing colors to produce the same effect.
VISITORS and VIEWS.
i welcome the connections.
i feel grounded by the mountains.
SEA and CITRUS.
peaceful waters only twenty minutes away.
fresh vibrant orange trees so visually pleasing.
SEVEN and SELFIES.
my 7 essential elements, my driving force.
and frequent snapshots of the evolving me.
COFFEE and CONTEMPLATION.
morning and afternoon sustenance,
in both liquid and mental forms.
DECISIONS and DUST.
about and on every square centimeter of the villa,
slowly renovating one room at a time.
FRIENDS and FUN.
coffee dates and lunches,
shopping and movement classes.
(alas, with no pictures to illustrate. yet.)
these are my days, and my days, of course, are me.
a comforting, and at-the-same-time captivating, cadence.
a rather rhythmic quality.
*******
a rhythmic cadence.
knowing what to emphasize,
when to pause.

Ohhh these pictures are amazing and I love your captions for them. ❤
I really enjoyed the images of your life – particularly the cats.. Our “last” one just passed away about two weeks ago. My son and I were looking at pictures for a school project last night and so many of them included our cats.. It is amazing how they are so always there.. but I do think they bring some order to things when we may still be getting settled.
April, I LOVE your pictorial stories. I’m there with you. I feel it as if I’m experiencing it. It’s a gift to pull a reader in so fully like that. Thank you for another wonderful, rhythmic post!!
Reading this is like taking a little vacation from my own ebbs and flows. Your life looks magical! I’m curious about the courses and I’m looking forward to learning more. Maybe one day I can step into a life like this!
Oh, I love that quote: “fai della tua vita un sogno e di un sogno la realtà”. As we dream, we are creating our realities!!! On point! A very important message!!! Thank you for sharing!
Your photos are stunning and kitties adorable…and your Villa, the colors, the views, the rooms what an incredible life you’ve carved out…I can feel you finding your rhythm. Lovely.
