fun facts & favorites

i finally started updating a few things on my website this week. when i got to the “facts & favorites” section, i realized two things: 1) my favorites have remained much the same throughout most of my life, and 2) it might be fun to share these lists.

so here you go >> maybe you’ll learn something new about me today!
 
 

a few facts about me

  • i am happily married and i have two terrific sons (ages 24 and 29)
  • i think crying is healing
  • i was drill team captain my senior year of high school
  • i am usually cold (and wear lots of layers)
  • i am from a small mining town in northern idaho
  • i lived in italy for 4 years and still own a villa there
  • i am an enthusiastic list maker
  • i wore a back brace for scoliosis in high school
  • i am fascinated with the psychology behind people’s actions
  • i was a “golden girl” (on the dance team) in college
  • i love my 15yo red mini cooper
  • i was once fingerprinted in an interpol station in paraguay
  • i was co-salutatorian of my high school graduating class
  • i was a kelly girl in california
  • i have spent a lot of time in buenos aires argentina
  • i completed two bachelor’s degrees before getting my master’s
  • i am a night owl but prefer sunshine over darkness
  • i believe emotions are incredible built-in messengers that guide us
  • i am renovating a 6200sqft 1901-era house with my husband
