we go on many journeys during our lifetime.
some planned, some unexpected.
some that soothe our souls and ignite our imagination.
some that challenge and threaten to derail us.
are you currently on a journey?
is it of a physical or psychological nature?
is it in a literal or metaphorical sense?
is it being embraced or endured?
did it originate by design or did it take you by surprise?
was it calculated, arranged, organized?
or was it impulsive, unforeseen, accidental?
there are obviously many ways to go on a journey.
i’d love for you to jump into the conversation by telling me about your own.
let’s keep adding to the list . . .

I’m on a journey of “just being”. Just being content with where I am. Just being content with the relationships around me. Just being content in the moment.
This is not to be confused with being passive or giving up. It’s being thankful for where I am. I dont need fixed, I am not broken. I’m right where I am supposed to be at this given time and I am going to enjoy it.
i love that definition of a journey, sheila! it’s important for us to notice and embrace and revel in the present (since it’s all we truly have). and you’re right – it is not equal to passivity or surrender. to feel contentment with your “now” signifies a meaningful life that you’ve created for yourself. congratulations and yes, enjoy! 🙂
The number journeys we could embark is really endless. This list is inspiring. Recently, I’ve been on a journey towards living more sustainably. It’s definitely a transition.
casandra – thanks for sharing your current journey. every change we make during our individual journeys that requires us to think differently and acquire fresh insight is a sign of growth. how exciting!
Q&A with April and Sabrina :):
are you currently on a journey?
You bet I am…I believe we all are!
is it of a physical or psychological nature?
For me it’s currently psychological but I am incorporating more of the physical ones into my life in the coming year with a trip to Europe of my own planned!
is it in a literal or metaphorical sense?
So my metaphorical one at the moment is the journey of balancing the power of mindfulness with that of manifestation. Being and doing. Feminine and masculine.
is it being embraced or endured?
Both to varying degrees at all times!
did it originate by design or did it take you by surprise?
Ah, great question – quite honestly the journey I’m on as an intuitive coach and healer took me a lot by surprise, but so grateful I was open to receive that surprise when I did.
was it calculated, arranged, organized?
Now that I’m on the journey there are many moments organized, and many more that simply can’t be planned.
or was it impulsive, unforeseen, accidental?
And again yes on some of these. Although I set conscious intention daily, I veer off the path. What I’m learning is that this work of acceptance so true to my heart includes accepting those moments of veering, of straying, and even of taking a few steps back.
sabrina – what a thoughtful and lovely reply. (LOVE “Q&A with April and Sabrina!” :)) please keep me posted about your own trip to europe.
